We were delighted to be on hand this week to photograph the Inland Rail Conference in Albury-Wodonga and catch up with some familiar faces that we haven’t seen in a while.
Commencing with a familiarisation tour of nearby distribution centres and intermodal hubs the afternoon was followed by the popular welcome reception on the Victorian side of the border in Wodogna. This reception gave guests the perfect opportunity to sample many of the local craft beers, produce and warm hospitality which the region is rightly famous for.
The main conference and conference dinner was held on the NSW side of the border at the Albury Entertainment Centre located on Swift Street and featured industry big-hitters speakers from across Australia, including companies such as Pacific National, John Holland, ARTC, Deloitte, Martinus Rail, Interlink, CSIRO, Linfox and Commonwealth Government.
With Inland Rail works already under way in several areas, this has been an interesting project to follow and we look forward to photographing the next conference somewhere along the route between Melbourne, Albury-Wodonga, Parkes, Moree & Brisbane.
